Hello

My name is Prisca, I'm the founder of Carucci Casa.

Design is the first thing I remember of my childhood. I was 4 years old when I drew my kindergarten's floorplan and gifted the drawing to my shocked mum after school. She kept the drawing, and gave it back to me the day I graduated with a Master's Degree in Architecture, 20 years later. I was 8 when I asked for a drawing table for my birthday and I learned to use AutoCAD in middle school.

I believe I was meant to be an architect. So, why Kitchens?

My Story

I was born in Milano, Italy, where I lived until 2015. In Italy, there is no event that is not celebrated or discussed around the kitchen table. Passed an exam? Dinner at grandma's. Failed an exam? Dinner at grandma's. Got a new boyfriend? Definitely dinner at grandma's. Food is a love language, over there. And kitchens are the place where this love spreads, where memories are made and traditions are passed down.

I started working in kitchen design when I first moved to California in 2015. I designed hundreds of kitchens and crossed paths with many people, families, and stories.

I chose to specialize in kitchen design because of the emotional connection that us humans have with food and its preparation.

Cooking is a serious business requiring a perfectly designed space. My educational background and experience in Architecture give me a comprehensive vision of projects as a whole, and a focus on technical elements, making me a skilled planner and critical thinker. These abilities allow me to help my clients in bringing their vision to life, from the big picture down to the most personal functionalities and details.
